- If you’re returning your ballot at your local post office, request a manual postmark

Early Voting Precincts open across the 9th District on March 2nd
Chicago Residents
- Can vote NOW at one of the supersites located Downtown Supersite (137 S. State) and CBOE Offices (69 W. Washington).
- Additional sites will open across the city on March 2nd and remain open through Election Day.
- Any voter in Chicago can vote at any Early Voting site, no matter where they live in the city.

Evanston Residents
- Early voting begins on March 2nd and continues through March 16th, at the Robert Crown Community Center (1801 Main Street, Evanston, IL 60202). Check their hours of operation here.
Cook County Residents

Vote in person on March 17th
Make sure you’re registered! The last day of online voter registration through Board of Elections’ website is Sunday March 1st. [Check your registration, confirm you polling location, and more here.
Same-day voter registration is available at select polling places on Election Day, with identification required and voters required to cast their ballots immediately.
Deadlines
- March 1, 2026 - Last day to register online to vote.
- March 17, 2026 - PRIMARY ELECTION - Same Day Registration at polling locations
ON MARCH 17th
- Bring a photo ID, required for confirming your voter registration
- You CAN bring notes into the ballot booth but you CANNOT take a selfie with the ballot
- Vote if you are in line by 7:00 p.m.
